Candy Jars

I Made these out of Candle Sticks I found on Sale at Wall-mart, the Jars are from Hobby Lobby (Medium size jars) then I attached some round tops to the top of each jar lid.


I used Old Records found at the Thrift Stores then re-covered the centers with scrap paper...and used as decoration pieces for rock-n-roll party. This was a fun party to throw..I went to party city and the dollar store and found some musical instruments that the kids can play and then take home for party favors...it was fun...the kids loved making a band together and making up songs to sing to the birthday boy :-)

Painting on T-Shirts

My Friend Melonnie Winters showed me this cool trick to painting on t-shirts using freezer paper as a stencil.

Its so easy and super fun to see the end result :) can't wait to make more!!

Looking on Pintrest someone had this great idea to make a pillow mattress for kids to lounge on...it was perfect for Bristol. I had so much fun making this today and it was so easy. I even learned a new trick to sewing seams and making the raw edges disapear (a very cool trick)
I'm bummed though cause now if you are to click on the tutorial for this it is no longer available and now you have to purchase the pattern from a website.
I am opening an Etsy.com shop called DesignMeMine and I will be selling this done and finished minus the pillows...along with some other various things I come up with...
